Coco Gauff books her place in a second French Open final as Lois Boisson's forehand goes out!     Boisson 1-6 2-6 Gauff

Second seed Gauff will face Aryna Sabalenka for the title on Saturday.

World number one Aryna Sabalenka moved a step closer to a maiden French Open title by taking out four-time champion Iga Swiatek in a blockbuster semi-final.

Belarus' Sabalenka earned a 7-6 (7-1) 4-6 6-0 victory to end fifth seed Swiatek's 26-match winning run at the tournament.

Men’s singles

Novak Djokovic continued his quest for a standalone record 25th Grand Slam title by swatting aside third seed Alexander Zverev to reach the French Open semi-finals.

The 38-year-old sixth seed won 4-6 6-3 6-2 6-4 to set up a meeting with world number one Jannik Sinner on Friday.

Victory over Bublik extended Sinner's winning run at the majors to 19 matches after triumphs at last year's US Open and the Australian Open in January.

Winning the title for the second time at Roland-Garros after a legendary final , Carlos Alcaraz reflected on the outcome of this exceptional match .
